Tools
- Tape measure, pencil, speed square and a straightedge
- Circular saw or miter saw for square crosscuts
- Low-speed drill/driver with a T25 bit, at most 7 in (17.78 cm) long from bit tip to tool back, including the bit (use a compact or right-angle driver for the close joints). The screws self-drill; no pilot holes
- Four or more bar clamps and a flat work surface
